I’ve spent some time today exploring new ideas within my business, uh-oh I hear you say! I realised that I hadn’t written a post to welcome us to the season of Spring. I have now added Summer, Autumn and Winter Season welcome dates to my diary!
It’s a nice day to be writing this. Tomorrow is the waning quarter moon, half way to the next New Moon. It’s a time when the moon encourages us to let go….remember those things you burnt on the last full moon? let them go!
Welcome
It’s a nice time as well to officially welcome you all to the Spring Season. We are now a beautiful circle of five women. Right back at the start of the Seasons Of You, I shared an “introduce yourself” post. Fun facts about you. We have certainly had two new members since this was posted! If you haven’t already completed this and would like to, here are the questions;
Here’s a gentle invitation to introduce yourself to the circle. You can write your answers in the comments below!

The Just One Hour Club
One of the projects I have been working on is Just One Hour. As a gift to you I am offering you a membership to run alongside Seasons Of You. Here is what’s it is all about.
If you had Just One Hour to exercise each week what would you do? What if you could move, laugh, sweat, play, and find stillness all in just one hour?
As we move through our 40s, 50s, and 60s, the “why” behind exercise begins to change. It’s no longer just about how we look, or getting faster – it’s about the life we want to live. It’s about keeping our hearts healthy, our bones strong, our mental wellbeing resilient and our energy high….so we can still dance, be independent, and live the life we want for decades to come.
It’s time for exercise that meets us where we are now. Because let’s be honest, life is busy. Work, family, caring for others… sometimes exercise slips down the list. But if you’re in your 40s, 50s, or 60s, your body is desperate for you to you back near the top of your priorities. Your future self will thank you.
So, what do we really need in this season of life?
✨Movement – think freedom, heart health, and flow.
✨Joy – think play, laughter, connection, and lightness.
✨Strength – think bone health, balance, and power.
✨Stillness – think rest, reflection, and nourishment.
This isn’t your typical workout. It’s my new offering – designed for midlife women who want to keep dancing until they are 90! Just One Hour to strengthen your body, lift your mood, and invite your joy.
You might just be the trailblazers for this – women leading the way in mixing up what an exercise session looks like in midlife!!
Just One Hour launches soon. It is an online offering. One uploaded session per week, with an additional five minute reflection piece. An online monthly Q&A, empowering women and creating a community. If this is something you would like to be a part of then please let me know by 15th May. This a one time gift for Seasons Of You members at this current time.
Lots for you to digest and note down. Again I am SO grateful that I get to hold this space for you all. THANK YOU 🙏🏻

Sunrise every time
Taurus – I believe I am on the ‘cusp’ whatever that means
Planner – if I haven’t got a list I’m not happy
Spring – its so vibrant and alive, I love the hedgerows with bluebells, campion, jack by the hedge at this time of year when there is that very particular shade of vivid green on the trees
Woodland beside a river or stream
Third Class Ticket by Helen Wood – This is a incredible book, sadly out of print and hard to find. A true story, a wealthy benefactor sets up a trust to provide a Third Class Train Ticket for all of the residents of a small Indian village to travel throughout their country. No one has ever been anywhere and this is the story of the first group that sets out to fulfill the bequest. There is joy and sadness, victory and tragedy. I could barely put this book down until I finished it. Everyone I have recommended it to has loved it. You can still get it second hand.
One word to describe your energy today – Flat lining today – dreadful sleepless night but sadly that is not unusual for me
What drew you to Seasons of You – I was initially invited by Amy to teach some Facial Reflexology. I wanted to continue attending the group as I was drawn by the energy of the group and realised that I welcomed the time for guided reflection on my life, aligned with the passage of the seasons
Your warm drink of choice – Wobbly hot chocolate (Hot chocolate with a shot of rum in it. It’s a Navy thing my husband regrets introducing me too.)
I loved reading your answers Morag! Thank you! The book does sound quite the story. I love a good recommendation. The wobbly hot chocolate sound interesting! I usually put rum and the beach together!!! Welcome to the circle 💙
Sunset – to close the day. Consolidate and rest.
Sun sign: Sagittarius through and through!
Moon Sign – also Sagittarius! (An intense personality apparently!)
I’m definitely a planner, and I really enjoy it.
I absolutely love the changing seasons, both Spring and Autumn. I think I could live in them all year round, watching new life grow, and then the land becoming dormant. I always feel quite energised in both of these seasons. When I lived for a short while in western Australia, my spirits were very low, and I truly believe it was because I yearned for the seasons to change. It was summertime when I returned to the UK, and I remember being SO excited for the Autumn to arrive.
Mountains. I love them. Awe-inspiring. Humbling, yet comforting. I have to have a mountain fix every year. We generally head up to the Lake District or Scotland.
This is a tricky one. There are many books I could label as a favourite, depending on my mood. For a comforting read, I will always return to Jane Austen or Daphne Du Maurier.
Energy today = Dynamic
What drew me to Seasons of You – A chance to mindfully connect with the natural world around us. To gain a sense of balance and harmony with the changing seasons. It allows a special time where I can focus on myself.
It’s always a delicious cup of Earl Grey for me and a nice hot herbal tea at bedtime.
I am interested in the Just one hour thank you Amy x
