Alongside your Just One Hour session, I’ll be sending a little note from me to you. Its purpose is to get you thinking, to get you motivated, and to give you a gentle nudge because we all need that from time to time!

What stops you from giving just one hour to yourself?

Prioritising others, cleaning the house (this is NOT one of my reasons!), thinking it’s too indulgent, waiting until you have time, the “should” of having to do something else? All of these I expect will feature in your answers somewhere along the line.

Giving yourself just one hour doesn’t ask you to bend anything less to anyone else, it simply asks that you give something to yourself first!

Here are a couple of prompts to sit with or journal on;

1. What do I tell myself to justify skipping time for me? Write the actual sentence you use.

2. If a friend gave me the excuses I give myself, what would I say back to her?

3. What does my body feel like on the days I don’t get any time to myself?

4. What is one hour a week actually costing anyone else in my life? And what is it costing me?

I LOVE question 3 – the answer to this is your new screen saver! That reminder that time FOR you is a NON-NEGOTIABLE.
