Cyclical Living: The Start of My Journey

Over the past 12 months, I’ve become increasingly drawn to the concept of cyclical living—aligning my life with nature’s rhythms. For me, this means tuning into the cycles of the moon, the seasons, and my own body.

We live in a world that never seems to stop. But nothing is designed to be “on” all the time. Batteries run out. Leaves fall. Humans burn out. Yet there’s an unspoken expectation that we must always be doing, producing, growing—chasing the next thing. And in that constant striving, we miss the small, beautiful moments. We fail to nourish our wellbeing. We don’t realise what we’ve missed until it’s too late.

Each cycle in nature follows a similar pattern:

  • Winter | Menstruation | New Moon – Rest, Retreat, Reflect

  • Spring | Follicular Phase | Waxing Moon – Renew, Plant Seeds, Explore Ideas

  • Summer | Ovulation | Full Moon – Shine, Be You, Celebrate

  • Autumn | Luteal Phase | Waning Moon – Harvest, Complete, Let Go

This growing desire to live cyclically has gradually crossed over into my work, too. Future coaching projects will be designed around seasonal energies. My wellness day retreats are now held on the Solstices and Equinoxes, weaving in the themes of each new season.

In January, under the first full moon of the calendar year—the Wolf Moon—I launched my Luna Yoga Gathering. Traditionally named by Native American tribes for the wolves howling in the cold night air, the Wolf Moon felt like the perfect time to begin. The gatherings have become a way for me to deepen my own connection to the moon, to learn, and to share those insights with others. Each gathering offers space to move, journal, and be present with whatever the moon brings.

So far, living in alignment with the seasons has given me:

  • A deeper connection to nature

  • A more mindful approach to life

  • Authentic inspiration for my business

  • A slower, more intentional rhythm

  • A curiosity to explore and embrace nature’s wisdom

  • A connection to ancient ritual

Cyclical living is a practice—intuitive, and deeply personal. There’s no right or wrong way to do it. The more you move through the cycles, the more aware and connected you become to what each moon phase, season, or menstrual stage brings for you. Over time, patterns emerge, wisdom deepens, and life begins to feel more aligned.

Hosting my Luna Yoga Gathering is a true joy. It’s open to all women, and all you need is a quiet space, a moon journal, an open heart, and a curious mind. Starting in June, my Full Moon Yoga sequences will also be available in my Yoga & Wellness Library—a beautiful way to align your practice with the moon in your own time. But if you’re craving intention, connection, and community and something a little deeper, then the Luna Gathering is where the magic truly happens. We’d love to welcome you there.

If this resonates with you and you feel called to be part of the Luna Gathering community, I’d love to welcome you in.

Right now, I’m offering what I believe is an incredible opportunity:
Join the Luna Yoga Gathering for a full year for just £125.
That’s 12 New Moons and 12 Full Moons—24 beautiful opportunities to set powerful intentions, connect with the rhythms of nature, and learn and deepen a practice of cyclical living.
